Obergurgl-Hochgurgl belongs to Austrias highest (altitude) villages.
The skiing area of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl starts at an altitude where in other areas the lifts stop. Top snow conditions are guaranteed from mid- November to the beginning of May. Almost all of the 110 kilometers of slopes end up at the front door.
The lift company rightly has the name "Top Quality Skiing". Despite modern technique and perfect infrastructure the 400 local people attach great importance to an intact and original nature.
